The former has been around since Day 2, and the latter appeared in the
last release, prompted by someone wanting me to tell you all about his
hospitality offer. If enough people submit their info, after SUNI I'll
hand over the pages to someone or host them myself.
There's also a
RoomShare Registry http://www.newsource.net/suni3/section/ab_share.htm
for folks to arrange to split space and costs.
I've tried to make the site as comprehensive and easy to use as is
possible for an all-volunteer position (for people I've never met, no
less). Some time back there was some chatter about being 'Net-connected
and so forth, and how great that was. So, grab a brewski or six, sit and
surf and take advantage of what the 'Net can really deliver.
The SUNI site has no hit-counter, but from the (just about total lack
of) traffic into the SUNI e-mail inbox, I'd have to say the site is
about as well-known as the cars. Perhaps I should pester the Lists more
about it.
