The other issue I have is towing it around everywhere. I don't like
paying Uhaul for trailer every time I move my car 2 miles, but what can
I do? Thanks

Tim, The PO of my SV ( my brother) had tow brackets welded to the front
of the car. They are 1/2" thick by 11/2" tall by 7" long and are welded
to the inside of the jack point. They are welded flat to the jack point,
angle in about 1" to leave clearance for the jack and then angle again
so they are parallel to the jack point. There are 1/2" holes to
accomodate the pins of the tow bar. A tow bar will cost about $170.00
and while I have been warned about the dangers of a welded bracket
breaking loose and doing untold damage to your car, my brother has towed
his Tiger and this Alpine all up and down the California coast without
incident.
