what's this switch for?

Next to my wiper switch (or thereabouts) there was a momentary-contact
switch used to control the horn. It's original, from somewhere, with a
date of 02/60, like a few of my other switches. I am wondering what it,
or whatever originally filled the hole, was supposed to be used for.
