As the end of my 10 year plus restoration comes to a close I am
beginning to notice all the little things that need to be done in order
to get this thing totally finished. Things that, when you add them up,
are rather substantial. Hopefully I will have them done long before
the big trip to SUNI I'm planning.
Anyway, one of the things I need to do is replace the rubber dust boots
for my upper and lower ball joints. After sitting for 7 years the new,
unused boots have cracked thanks to LA air. It is my understanding
that Energy Suspension here in the LA area has boots that will fit the
ball joints. However, I will have to take mine to them to determine
exact application. I plan to do this in the next few weeks. If anyone
is interested in a set, let me know and I will get 4 for you.
My engine is nearly assembled. I still must complete the rebuild of my
CD 150's, the last major work to be done. I hope to have the car
running by the end of March. Hopefully it will run as good as it looks.
