The Talbot dog either does not exist anymore, or there aren't enough of
them around to rate mention on any web pages I could find. There is an
interesting page at http://www.hubcom.com/channel/pugin/PugAtow.htm.
This is a place in Staffordshire called Alton Towers. There is a photo
of an old (mid 1800's) fireplace with the Talbot dogs engraved in
stone. They bear a very strong resemblance to our logo, and are really
quite lion-like.
