The mounts for the floor pan are "L" shaped, and connected to the floor by "3"
1/8 " "pop" rivets. The pan is then screwed to the brackets and rests on the
top edge without being connected.I have been repainting my floor-pans so I can
be pretty certain as to this configuration. And yes the carpet is held in place
by two snaps-not glue.Rick (at) SS has all the M/F snaps available.
The pan should be in place BEFORE the carpet is put down or indeed the pan
will be too wide.
   Hope this info is helpfull,
