Steve,
When I drove herbeam to Georgia and stayed there for 6 months I learned
that the outer window seal is very important in controlling the amount of
water that enters the inside of the door. Rick McCleod at SS has some better
than new reproductions that do a good job. The other important step that
most forget is to replace the plastic sheet inside the door between the
door and the window crank mechanism...Thats where water was coming in and
flooding my interior. After putting new plastic sheets inside the door with
windshield caulking to seal it, no more water leaked down the inside of the
door into the passenger compartment. It has something to do with the angle
of the doors ...the water just drips right in. Hope this helps cure your
problem
