Many thanks to Jarrid Gross who, though not feeling well, came to my
house to help with the electrical problems. Much appreciated!!
As most of you know, Jarrid knows his stuff and made short work of my
electrical problems.
The horn problem was traced to the green wire that runs to the right
horn from the stop switch and meets a junction at the wiper motor.
Apparently when my wiper motor burned out the green wire burned and so
the voltage running to the stop switch and horn is too low. So that is
why my brake lights don't work (though the switch is probably also bad)
and the horn doesn't work.
The mysterious red wire that comes out of the harness near the fuel
gauge is an accessory wire for fog lamps.
The black ground wire that comes out at the same location is the ground
for the map light, so that's why that didn't work.
The front marker lights were not working due to no ground. The turn
signals work now, though I can't remember why they didn't.
Is that everything? Thanks again, Jarrid. 'Piners are great people.
