With great regret, I must try to sell my babies. Good news really.
After years of trying, I have landed a law teaching job in San Diego,
California. The long move from Great Fall, Virginia, and the severe pay
cut make transporting the two sports cars a real problem. The short
story on the Alpine is that it really is a great driver. '67 Series V
(but with an early series grill) with OD, Rootes driving lights, Rootes
reverse lights, almost new brake booster, very nice hard top, expensive
Alpine stereo with 6 CD changer and cassette, nice steel wheels with hub
caps and rings, extra excellent condition transmission, etc. I'm asking
around $6K with the stereo, a little less without. Let me know if you'd
like more details. The Marcos is a '68 wood chassis coup w/ sunroof and
a 1700 Ford Kent engine. It's very quick and comes with wires and
Marcos factory alloy wheels. Asking $8K. Again, details on request.
