The amber color was required by American law, whereas most European
countries had clear. Be glad we aren't in France with those ugly mandated
yellow headlights!

Subject: Early turnsignals

I've noted that on some SI-III cars, the front turnsignals are
yellow/orange. From what I've seen, all factory shots show the turnsignals
as clear. I've also noted that the TR3 turnsignals appear to be the exact
same ones - clear ones, and the Aston Martin's may have the exact same
ones.

Were the yellow/orange ones a factory option? For other countries? Or,
simply a neat change some people have done to their cars? If the latter,
what cars do the yellow/orange ones come from?

Jay
