Here's one for ya.......a fellow co-worker and his family have been in top
gas drag racing for about 2 decades now. When they build a new engine (1000
HP) to break it in all they do after all is set up and after priming the oil
for a few minutes, is start it up run it at 3000 rpm for 5 minutes, drain the
oil and they are ready to race!
Their trips are a wee bit shorter than ours and after very few miles they
tear it down for another rebuild.
