Hi Scott, Alpiners

Yes Mole-grips or welding a nut that last one is new to me !

If possible you might even try to file or grind off the head so that you get two flat sides

again for an adjustable open spanner.

Sometimes if the part is moveable I clamp the bolthead in a vice and turn the object.

Maybe even applying a nutsplitter would do the trick and then use a hammer or pliers
