No, the transmission mount is insulated.
You need the braided ground strap that connects from one of the
tail case's studs to the body.

Having one from the timing case to the horn mounts, and one at the
transmission mount is probably overkill, but it does provide an
alternate high current path for WHEN the front on gets oily and
shaken loose.

Think of it as a protective redundancy kind of thing.
