replacement SI air filters

A fellow in town called me looking for a replacement air filter for the
Zenith carbs on his Series I. His setup uses a canister mounted on the
front of the left wheel well that connects to an airbox on the carbs via
a wide rubber hose. The canister has holes to let the air in, and the
filter appears to be folded paper. The Parts Manual shows this as
#5037467, superseded by #5038483.

Does anyone know of a suitable alternative filter?
