Lucas Sport coils came both ways. The early coils I have seen had a brown
center tower insulator, and did not have an internal resistor. The later
sport coil had a black tower and a silver and black sticker that says
"internal resistor" or some such. I think I have one of the later type new
in the bag in storage. If anyone needs it, I will look for it.
