Well...I've done it now. I got my buddies carbs all rebuilt, but I can't
get them to work. Here's what happens. The Alpine will start and run at
high revs only after heavy choking. It will not idle and dies once the
choke is removed. I have checked for vacuum leaks and don't believe
there are any. My guess is that there is either too much air, or not
enough fuel. I removed the fuel line fron the carb T-fitting and noticed
a lot of pressure which caused fuel to spray out when I removed the
line. Is this normal? What have I over looked? - Ian <
