flame trap - clean or replace

This inside of my flame trap (canister between oil fill neck nad air
filters) seems pretty gunked up. Can this be cleaned out with carb. cleaner
or is it a replacement item? Also, the hose leadings from the flame trap to
each of the carbs. needs replacing - where can I get one?
