According to my parts manual, (S. I-V, 1966 5th ed.) the priming lever was
never dropped, but was available with all pumps. Series I-IV used the same
pump, and the main difference in the series V pump appears be in the valve
area. Also, written into my parts manual by the greasy-fingered former owners
is the number " AC 7950536" for series I-IV. Can't answer any of your other
questions.
