Well, after a long winter the body and paint Ive been doing on my friends
Series 3 Alpine is finished. The car is back in its original Harvest Gold,
which if anyone ever wondered actually looks quite good. And if you are
trying to find the color in an acrylic enamel the Ditzler color codes seem to
cross over to a 79 Subaru Saffron Gold Metallic, it matches exactly. Will
post some pics soon for all to see. All this work on his Alpine has given me
a deep love of the cars so now I am in search of my own. Going to follow up
on a lead on a Series 5 this week. Put my Alfa Romeo Spyder up for sale
today so I can get an Alpine instead, of course the italian car guys think Im
nuts. So if anyone knows of any good leads, looking for a running project
in the NJ Area, lower cost the better or trade for Alfa Romeo, please let me
