Re: Michelin "X" tires

Well guys....being the purist that I am....I want to go with the
"original" look and tire size. I don't think modern tires come in the
correct heights like the original Dunlop Gold Seals or Michelin 'X's.
This is why everyone is going to a 14 or 15 inch wheel. Coker Tire
offers the reproduction tires from the original molds. In sense, they
are "new" old tires. The reason that I had a blow out was because I was
foolishly driving on a set of 38 year old Michelin tires. I think that
the repros from Coker ought to be good enough for the amount of driving
that I do with this car. I don't plan on racing or driving it everyday,
just the occasional car shows and a very nice day. - Ian
