This is a common Alpine problem. I installed an overflow reservoir (a.k.a.
puke tank). I used a "non-original equipment" Orange Julius quart container
with a bendy straw which goes from the top of the radiator where the small
hose comes out, through the top of the the O.J. container, extending to the
bottom of it. When the radiator gets enough pressure to blow coolant out
the top, it flows into the container. When the rad loses pressure, it sucks
the coolant back in.
Anyone else tried this?
