Is the shaft long enough to hang an overdrive on it? Unlikely,
but asking is cheap.
To all:
Question: What does it mean when my radiator fluid looks like
sewer water and my car is running much hotter that usual. Answer: Time
for me to pull my motor and install my overdrive while I am replacing my
head gasket and chiselling all the casting sand and crud out of the water
jackets. No water in the oil, so hopefully the problem is just the
gasket and not a rotten head.
While I have the head off the car I want to port and polish the
intakes and exhaust. Does anyone know how much should be ground out other
than simply matching up the ports.
