Chris,
I'm very sorry about starting the "bus full of parts" bash. However, I never
thought we would hear from you again. I really thought it was just a poor
joke by now, I think everyone did.
There had been no mails from you or sign of you in quite some time.
I'm very sorry you are suffering so. It's not worth losing a friend over a
few Alpine parts. You always sounded very honest about the deal from the
beginning so I think everyone was surprised about the silence. So, again I'm
sorry. I did not intend to piss you off or lose a friend. You did answer a
couple of my e-mails but after being unable to get an address from you or a
firm price I really thought it was a hoax.
In hindsight, I think you should have advertised a few "hot" parts at a time
so you would not become swamped with requests you could not meet. Maybe just
ask people to email their requests. But the "bus full of parts" thing was
just too much for a Sunbeam nut to take. It's like telling someone you know
nothing about cars but you just found an old warehouse in England that nobody
knew about stocked to the ceiling with NOS Sunbeam parts, "is there anything
you guys are looking for." We couldn't take the suspense.
Sorry
Paul
