IMHO, this car does NOT have 16,000 miles on it.

I agree, when I bought my first alpine in 1969 it had 11,000 on it and stil=
l had the original tires. 16,000 should still look nearly new, even after a=
ll these years and should not show that kind of wear. The alpine I have now=
 has 24,000 on the speedometer and my spare speedometer has 34,000 on it. M=
y only question on these is how many times it has turned over.
