Kurt there must be some wires crossed under the dash that supply power to
the 10 volt regulater that is bolted to one of the center dash braces. It is
what supplies power to the gauges. I'll bet you find a red wire powering it
(from the headlight circuit) when it should be a green wire that comes on
with the ignition. Simple fix! Bob
