It's really, Really NEAT to know that the valves need to be adjusted hot at
170 hot . . . but I slapped a keep-as-new tag on your message 'cause I
indended to get back to you about the Alpine get-together, and then had one
hell-of-a-time finding it 'cause o' the subject . . .
Anyhoo . . . Looks like Theresia and I will be able to make it, though we
won't have an Alpine for show-'n'-tell this year. None of ours is roadworthy
yet, and since there's an autocross at Hollywood Park the next day, we'll be
needing to have the Tiger on the trailer and all ready to boogy-out the next
morning.
Have you done anything to let some of our net-unconnected friends know 'bout
this? Like Steve Alcala? Dan Walters? And that lusty-lookin' Kathleen
lady? I stopped by Steve's shop today, and he was still off "on vacation"
somewhere. (He and Dan left Big Sky after the Wednesday aucocross session
to go do some sort of racing in Portland . . . )
