Jay and others,

        Talking about chalk writing under these cars, last winter while under my
1953 Sunbeam Talbot saloon I glanced up between the front fender (wing) and
the sloped foot rest area of the floor (left hand side) and there in big
clear chalk letters was "USA". I wonder where the fellow is now who printed
these letters on the body shell as it rolled down the assembly line. This
is the car I bought in 1996 in Allentown, PA.
