Sunbeam cars and Sunbeam motorcycles started out as the same company, but
each was hived off by the parent John Marston Ltd. By the 1920's there was
no connection between the two.

Incidentally, the motorcycle division's final fling was a motor scooter
shared with Triumph. Yes, Sunbeams badge engineered as Triumphs!
