It is with heavy heart that I put my '64 Series IV GT (B9404090)
up for sale. I've owned it since 1988 and have enjoyed the car
thoroughly, but I no longer have the time to maintain it properly
or use it as much as I'd like.

The car was originally red with red interior, but was painted black
by some previous owner. I had it repainted black in the early '90s
after having had some rust repair done (new quarter panels and sills,
etc). The body panels are now in good shape, but the floors are
getting somewhat rusty. The engine was advertised as completely
rebuilt when I bought it, but I doubt that to be true. Fair amount of
blowby, and an increasing oil leak, but good oil pressure and a strong
runner. The hardtop is in relatively good condition, but with rust
starting in the usual places.

The interior is original, and some of the seams are starting
to fail, though overall things are in good condition. The dash was
replaced with solid walnut shortly after I bought the car in '88.
I bought the car in North Dakota and moved it to Minnesota, where it
lived from '88 to '97 -- always stored properly when not in use.
It's now in Pleasant Valley, NY, about 80 miles north of NYC.

In addition to the rust repair, I've had the valves done, replaced
the radiator, windshield and dash cover, the alternator and fuel pump,
rebuilt the front brakes with stainless pistons, rebuilt the carb (a
single Solex), installed seat belts, plus lots of other minor tasks.

Spares include: Running 1.6 liter engine, transmission and rear end,
used wire wheel hubs (car has steel wheels, however), driver's side door,
door glass and cranks, miscellaneous wiring, dash, interior, and trim
pieces from donor car. Spares are all still located in MN, near St. Paul.

Asking $2500
