Lou...I reworked the original 4 spd trans tunnel in HERBEAM to accept the
C-4 automatic. What I had to do was cut the floor on the drivers side down
the hump and then take about 1.5 " off the floor, flatten and reshape the
tunnel lower and wider and then rejoin the tunnel to the floor. You will
have to relocate the gas pedal to the left and use the clutch position for
the brake pedal. It wasn;t easy but worth the effort. I used a 73 Capri
shifter which was like a Mustang except that it had a cable instead of a rod
making it easier than ever to hook up. See pictures of my tunnnel on my web
