Body Cart

Pinemasters,
Well, instead of welding a body-cart to transport the shell on I made one out
of wood today and it turned out just fine.
It's basically a rectangular box made from 2x8's with 8" casters on it. The
body sets on top at 17" above the floor. Really makes it nice to roll in and
out of the garage. Next weekend it's scheduled for the blast with sand or
plastic media. I can't seem to decide but I am leaning toward the sand
because the plastic doesn't do the job on deep rust. It will remove the
flaky rust but not he deep stuff. However I really don't have much except
for the floor.
Any input on this?
Also, I don't know how many of you have rebuilt your front suspension but in
examining mine, the shim thing seem complicated. There are shims not only in
the bracket that hold the cross member to the body but also there are shims
in the suspension itself. I don't know what exactly these shims adjust but
I'm sure it's important and tedious to do. Is there any direction on this in
the shop manual?
