Hi
I am replacing the funny looking mag wheels with stock steel wheels and
am wondering about lug nuts. The ones I got from NAPA have the right
threads but the part that goes against the wheel is not the same. They
look like they are off of an F150 truck, is there a source or lug from
a different car that matches better.
Plugs, my car has autolites, from my hot rod days I found that
different motors responded better to certain plugs. What plug works well
in the LBC? is .025 really the plug gap? I found my plugs gapped at
.032 and they were black. regapped to .025 seem like it has a smoother
idle now.
Any help with this stuff is greatly appreciated, as my wife wants to
get to driving this car straight away.
Anyone need a set of funny looking mags? They only rub the fender if
you turn right and back up, but they do say Shelby on the center cap.
