Strangest thing happened to my family today.
We went to the beach in our old '78 Dodge RV. On the way there the
thing started backfiring heavily through the carb. It started at the
intersection of Valley View and Alondra. Thinking it might be bad gas
I purchased 6 gallons of premium gas at the nearest gas station. We
drove the final 10 miles backfiring all the way.
On the way home the damn thing continued to backfire very badly.
However, at the intersection of Valley View and Alondra, the backfiring
suddenly stopped. Weird, eh? Started and stopped at the exact same
place. What the hell was that?
