The "Mark" Alpine was badged simply as "Sunbeam Alpine" from day one. The 90
saloon however continued alongside it with Sunbeam-Talbot badges for a few
years. I expect it was because the Alpine was more export oriented than the
90 and Rootes didn't want any confusion with the French Talbot company .
