I bought my three point seat belts from the same guy - and regular lap
belts for the back of my 911. The ones I got for my Sunbeam were for a 356
too, but not retractable. I found that the belts were much too long since
the 356 mounting points are further back. However, I just adjusted them so
that they fit just fine. I have never yet cut off the excess, and it sits
in a roll under my seat (maybe it's just in case I ever need them in a 356
;')
The one problem I have with them is that to tighten them, you have to pull
on the inside side, where there is not much room before your hand hits the
glove box. However, to have that proper floating lap/shoulder belt, I'm
not quite sure any other configuration that will allow you to tighten it on
the outside side. Did that make sense?
Anyway, so far they've done me well.
