Daniel,
What condition is the soft top frame in? If it's rusted or even
slightly rusted, I would have it sandblasted and powder coated or
resprayed with a single stage automotive paint (Dupont Centari is a good
choice). Otherwise, I would just repaint it with the Centari. Doing just
the painting will probably take a weekend. Sandblasting/powder coating
(?), well that will take much longer.
