I was with the alternate group last year in my red Alpine. Had a great time
and can vouch for them being an entirely enjoyable group of people. I am
still a little confused about how the two runs differentiate except that the
BritCar folks seem to just go over the hill to the ocean whereas this group
went all the way down the coast almost to Santa Cruz. Longer run, more time
to enjoy our cars and a nice winery at the end . . .

Am considering the shorter run this year in that my head is newly
reconditioned and will need to be re-torked shortly and I do not want to put
too many hard miles on it (of course the possibility of my spouse trying to
race that little green Lotus again this year has nothing to do with it!).

Anyone else going and have any recommendations on how we can get some
Alpines together?

p.s. I am believing/hoping to get it all together by then. The upholstery
is almost finished (Friday if Rick at SS get the pieces to me in time). It
is starting to look really nice! Not a daily driver any more though . . .

Please forward this to the Alpine list - THANKS! The additional meet, not
put on by BritCarMag is hosted by Scott Fisher and is mostly internet folks
and as I understand it is also quite good. You can reach Scott at:
sfisher(at)living-history.org
or call: 408-736-3124. I would love to run on either of these runs but we
have so much to do to set up Sunday that there is no time. Enjoy!
