Had a great weekend at the All British Car show in Kansas City. My
Series II made the trip well with no problems. My son decided to have a
project car and we had been looking off and on for several months.
Triumphs, MG's, Austins, but I told him to stick with Rootes cars since
we know them best and can in the future bring several cars to meets
together. At the end of the show a local ran up and said he had just
bought a Daimler SP250 (ugly) and had to sell his Series V Alpine so we
looked at it and it will be a real project car be we ended up with it.
Now instead of a Series II and MK 1 Imp we now broaden to a Series V.
Will it never end? Tim will soon be 17 and Holly will be driving in 2
years. She will probably want a Tiger!. Brent Kasl
