I know there was a discussion on "Sunbeam" and "S" valve covers ages ago,
years in fact. But, now I have a couple in my hot little hands. So, I
thought I'd bring it up again. Currently on my car, I have one of the
covers that says "Sunbeam" in the rectangle in front, has an "S" in the
diamond just behind the Sunbeam rectangle, and has the oil filler in the
back. It does not have the threaded holes on the side for the heater hose.
But, that's ok because I'm not running the heater hoses.
I have recently picked up another. It has the "Sunbeam" rectangle in the
front, the oil filler where the diamond is, and the "S" at the back where
the filler usually goes. I don't even know if the forward fitting oil
filler will hit the bonnet.
I seem to recall from the thread years ago that there was some other
non-Alpines that had these valve covers. Anyone know what it might have
been off of?
