So, has anyone ever seen that ad with the picture of the Alpine on the
bottom and the picture of the kids in the soap box racer on the top? I
have always loved that ad, and always wanted one. I've kept my eyes out
for one, and have always looked in the various old car magazines I come
across, to no avail. Finally I found one on eBay. I was the successful
bidder and just asked the seller what magazine it came out of. A 1962
PLAYBOY!!!!!!! No wonder I never found it. I'm still laughing at how
ironic it was that I was looking in completely the wrong magazines.
I can see it now, "no dear, I'm not looking at the women, just the ads for
cars."
Got my figers crossed that no one is going to out bid me on the other ad
I'm still bidding on.
