I will give you fair warning, I am stepping on my soap box.
Lately I have noticed a distinct change in the personality of this mailing
list. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it is a change for the worse. There
seems to be a lot of snapping and a general reduction in the level of
civility. I think that we all need to pause and reread what we are about to
say before we hit that send button. Remember we are all human and sometimes
people make mistakes or have different opinions than we hold ourselves and
we should be tolerant of this. We are all Alpine owners. It's not like we
can run out and find another group of people to share this love/
passion/neurosis with.
