I went ahead and moved my plate under the bumper (lost some points
there at SUNI). This is strictly a personal preference thing. I love
the lines of the boot lid and I though the plate just messed it up. My
one complaint is that the plate is too low and often scraps my steep
driveway. The plate light was easy to modify & I made a mounting
bracket that bolts to the gastank pipe bracket that runs through the
scuttle.

Smitty makes a nice bracket for the front that goes with the original
bracket.
