David, I think an electric Sunbeam is a great idea ( and befitting the
name ).The previous owner of my SV had considered the same thing and I
have daydreamed about it myself. Someone posted a few weeks ago about a
completed conversion in Britain that was shown on TV. Keep us informed
about your progress as I am sure there will be more interest in this in
years to come as the technology improves.
