Many of you may recall the total frustration I had last weekend
regarding the failing of the S2 after doing all the work to the fuel
system. It appears, after fidgeting with the ignition system, that it
may have been a coil failing. I substituted a Bosch coil over the Lucas
and appears to be running better without cutouts. I have not reconnected
the Pertronix system yet but doubt it was the problem. If it was, you
can bet a different message will be on this site. Thanks for all who
