You have a problem with the overdrive and I would guess that there is no
chance of fixing it without removal.
If the cone clutch is not locking together this problem can occur. Weak
springs, distorted or worn cone clutch is possible. I would also guess that
the engine is not droven on the overrun, ie as you take your foot off the
throttle engine rpm'd drop even through you havn't pressed the clutch.
