Bob,
I have dismantled the front end on this Series 3. I like the idea of removing
the spring cup, since it is basically cost free. The front end feels nice and
tight, and the shocks are good as well. The entire thing will get a clean up
and repaint before I reassemble it.Would it also help my cause to cut the
spring down? If so, how much should I cut? I would like to drop it
aproxamately 1 1/2" total.
