Jay,

I encountered that problem when I was evaluating the first-article piece for
the new TWM Induction intake a couple of years ago. Dan Walters was helping,
and he said that Steve Alcala had it on his Series II vintage racer too. He
said that Steve took off the steering box cover, countersunk that hole, then
used a flat-head machine screw there.

That's what I'm going to do when I put the Webers on the pointy-fin racer,
and I think that's what you should do too. I mean, how would you feel if you
didn't? And then you smash the bottom of that big-bucks Weber into the
remains of that two-bit bolt? Doing whatever amount of damage? And then how
would you feel if we all found out about it? And then had our sick way with
your self-inflicted misfortune? ; - )

Ramon
