I have a single sidedraught webber manifold I bought off a guy by the name
of Gavin Pepper about a year ago (Hamilton New Zealand). He'd had it on his
(bedford pistoned) 1900cc fasback rapier. He said it went well up the revs,
but would splutter a bit down low. But overall he didn't find it too much
better than the strombergs. But I don't think he'd spent much time trying to
set it up, and the rest of the engine was completely stock, except for the
cam.

Its by a company called LYNX and is labeled HUNTER GT. This company may be
Australian, but I don't think it is available anymore. It's the only one
I've ever seen. It's quite nice in that the correct ports are matched (1 and
4 for 1 choke, 2 and 3 for the other). So there are a lot of bends, and the
branches are all different lengths, but it is a nice casting with good
radiuses and smooth flowing inside. Its got a linkage bolt holes and brake
vacuum union. Theres no heating jacket.

I haven't tried it as yet, as I thought I'd go straight for the twin
sidedraughts. It's got a 42 dcoe on it at present. I'm not sure what size
chokes, but they look pretty big.
