Clive, I had s similar problem recently with my Ser. IV and my thoughts
were fuel also, the car would run OK at an idle but no acceleration, after
taking my Weber completely apart and finding nothing wrong I popped the
distrib. cap to check the points and condenser lead and much to my surprise
the condenser had broken lose at the solder connection and was just flopping
around in there, anyway, your problem might not be the fuel. Good Luck,
