That's a very unpleasent job. I have been there and tried the best I
could. I just saw a new tool that is an air powered rust scale remover.
It has a 1" bundle of metal 1/8" rods dia., that chip the rust flakes
off. I don't know if it can be throttled with it's air pressure so it
won't destroy the sheet metal too much. It cost over $100 as I remember.
You want to use Rass-O-Nil or POR-15 rust conversion after the rust
chipping.
